Dr. Seuss Movie Party this Friday!

Join us for free cake & Dr. Seuss themed crafts at 5 pm!

At 6 pm we will start our movie: The Lorax!

Admission is free, but concessions will be sold, including popcorn, drinks and fun Seuss themed snacks!

Father Daughter Dance This Friday!

Our 3rd annual Father Daughter Dance is on Friday, February 10th at 6pm to 8pm.

There will be light refreshments (hotdogs, desert and more), photo booth, DJ,


*This event is for girls in TK/K-5th grade and their fathers (or father-roll adults) only. Other family member won’t be able to stay at the event.

Toys for Tots Toy Drive

Please support our Toys for Tots Drive sponsored by our 5th graders.

Toys for Tots will be providing holiday gifts to 200 organizations in San Diego County.

Please bring NEW, UNWRAPPED TOYS to a drop-off location by December 14th.

*Toys for ages 6-12 are the most needed.

*No guns, play knifes, grenades or weapons.

Containers are in the office, outside Ms. Tessaro-Love’s Classroom, and outside Ms. Zittle’s classroom.



Winter Dance on Friday, Dec. 16! Volunteers Needed!

Join us and enjoy the holiday fun with your friends at CPJMA Winter Dance before the winter break!

Date: Friday, December 16th

Time: 5pm to 7pm

This event is FREE ADMISSION!

5th graders will be selling food and drink. All proceeds go to 5th grade promotion activities.

We also need a few volunteers to help with set-up and tear down. This will be to help decorate our auditorium and make it look more festive for all our families to enjoy! Set-Up will be from 3:30pm to 5pm, and tear down is from 7pm to 8pm. If you’re available to help, please sign up here.



Fall Bookaneer Book Fair!


We invite all families to come and shop at our Fall Bookaneer Book Fair!

Date: Monday, Nov. 14th to Friday, Nov. 18th

Time: 7:40am to 8:30am, 12:00pm to 2:15pm

Place: Pirates’ Cove (Room 2) *NOT in the library this year!

There will be lots of goodies! Books, pencils, bookmarks and other fun scholastic choices for your child(ren).

If you haven’t started shopping for Christmas, then maybe this is where you begin!
We still need lots of help with the after school shopping shifts for next week (11/14-11/18) if we are to be open every day after school.

Step 1: 
Samples of the spirit wear items will be available in most sizes in the parent room at the school; you may bring your child(ren) in to try on the items they require to ensure the correct sizes are ordered.- before or after school.

Step 2:
When you are ready to place your spirit wear order, all you have to do is click the link on your school’s website or visit your direct web store link http://crownpointjr.epluno.com/common/home.html and select your items!

Step 3:
Once all pre-packaged orders by student/parent’s name arrive to the school, we will send them home with your student.

Q: When will our shop be open to accept orders?
A: Our custom web store will be open for your purchasing beginning November 1, 2016! Once the store dates come to a close, your order will be processed and shipped directly to the school for you to pick up at the school! We will communicate the arrival date as soon as the order is available for pick-up.

Q: Why is a trying on samples necessary?
A: As all parents know, different clothing companies have slightly different sizing. We want to ensure that when you receive your custom spirit wear order, your student is in the exact size needed to be comfortable! We highly recommend coming in to the school for a fitting; most sizes showcased in our custom shop will be located in the parent room at the school for students to try on the order period. There are sizing charts located within our web store in addition to sizing assistance via customer support which is just a phone call away – please contact our direct customer support partner @ 800.249.5275.

Q: How long does it take for an order to arrive to the school?
A: Your student’s order will arrive to the school within 2 – 3 weeks of the final day of the shop order period. We create a customized order for your student; you will receive your spirit wear pre-packaged for your student for ease in distribution at no additional shipping charge to you!

We Need MORE Help for Trunk or Treat!

We have only a few days till Trunk or Treat! To make this event very successful, we would like to ask for your help!

Here are some ways for you to help this event:

  • Donate candies and let your child’s class win a party!
    Please drop off Halloween candy at your child’s classroom with teacher’s name attached by October 26th! Candy MUST be INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED in UNOPENED BAGS.
  • Donate store-bought baked goods!
    Please drop of  STORE-BOUGHT baked goods to the parent’s room this week! All baked good will be handed out as individual prizes in the Cake Walk, so make sure to wrap in disposable containers or bags INDIVIDUALLY.
  • Sign up for decorating your trunk!
    We need more trunks! The event provides a safe environment for trick or treating. We will have the best trunk decoration contest! The prize for the best trunk is $50 Bayside Landing certificate and a trophy! To sign up, please click here.
  • Volunteer at the event!
    We need a lot of parent volunteers at the event! Ticket booth, pizza sales, drink sales, popcorn sales, candy delivery, etc! Please click here to sign up today!

JAMS Fall Festival

JAMS (Japanese Artist & Musician Society) are inviting us The Fall Festival on Sunday, October 30th 3pm to 6pm!

There will be Karate performance, harp performance, oil painting performance, shakuhachi and koto collaboration performance, shigin and shodo (Japanese calligraphy) collaboration performance, Hula dance performance, sunshin performance, nagauta performance, and classic Japanese dance!

This event is FREE admission!

Redistributes clothes to places where there is a great need. Our school receives a check based on the weight of clothes we collect each quarter. The USAgain dropbox is located on our school campus near the back parking lot. They accept damaged/stained clothing for textile recycling.



Schoola turns donated clothing into money for our school. Request a bag from the website and fill it up.
